The three sides of the triangle represent the ideals of service, citizenship and fellowship. The word "APEX" meaning the pinnacle, was chosen to represent the height of ambition. The rays within the triangle represent the rising generation of youth. "AUSTRALIA" recognises that Apex originated in Australia, and holds a unique position in Australia
